We will hold a space to bring healing to our emotional wounds that have been triggered by the conflict in the Middle East.
This safe place is designed to help us let go of the verbal mind from which no answer can emerge and to attend to our body mind that carries the wounds and multiple traumas.
We will provide a space which listens deeply to the emotional reality of each of the participants and gives an opportunity for healing. The workshop facilitators are committed to holding a space of loving kindness for all the participants. Plenty of time is spent in small groups of 6 to 8 with an expert facilitator helping us open ourselves to the three tenets of the Zen Peacemaker: Not knowing what the solution is but staying open to all; witnessing each other with loving presence; taking small steps of loving action to support ourselves and each other.
We will set a strong field of safety, have a centering and resource meditation, offer a framework, have sharing in groups of about 6 led by a facilitator, and a final large group sharing.
“There is no issue more important today than creating circles of creative nonviolence that cultivate the “positive power” of generative conversations and communities. I give my complete support and endorsement to this workshop.” Steve Gilligan
As Thich Nhat Hanh said, “Peace in the world starts with peace in oneself.” I am happy and proud to support you in offering this important opportunity to hold a space for the deep emotions brought up by the conflict in our world today. I send my full support for this essential initiative. Robert Dilts
