WHO WE ARE
“My passion is helping people
blossom, both myself and others.”
Julian Russell: Life Talent founder
My passion is helping people blossom.
I have been on my own path of personal exploration for 40 years and leading others on theirs since the 1980s. I have worked as a coach to senior executives in Europe, Asia and the USA since the 1990’s. I founded the Life Talent Programme in 2004, a 20-day personal evolution programme which seeks to be state-of-the-art and aims to be one of the most powerful transformation programmes in the world.
I helped to introduce NLP into the UK and am co-author, with Robert Dilts and Anne Deering, of the book Alpha Leadership – Tools for Business Leaders Who Want More Out of Life (Wiley and Co, 2002) and also co-author, with Cynthia Indriso, of The Business Leader as an Incurable Deviant, in Gilligan, S. (ed) “Walking in Two Worlds: The Relational Self in Theory and Practice” (Zeig, Tucker & Thiessen, 2004). Amongst other activities, I am a regular speaker at the annual NLP Conference and at Alternatives, St. James Piccadilly.
I have run coaching master classes for the Academy of Executive Coaching and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). I am a former trustee of Re-Vision, a Psychosynthesis training charity; former board member of the UK Association for NLP (ANLP).
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, hold a 2nd dan black-belt in Aikido, practise yoga and Five Rhythms dance and am a long-term student of Buddhism. I volunteer weekly at my local hospital as part of the Chaplaincy Spiritual Care Team, helping both religious and non-religious people from a post-modern Buddhist psychological perspective.
